Montage

I chose to do a montage of sorts with just a few pictures of Chicago, I hope that you find it interesting! I had trouble doing it, my laptop is overheating and doesn't want to work quite right! Due to my disability I am unable to drive by myself. I didn't have anyone to drive for me. I love these pictures as much as I love Chicago!

  1. I may have mentioned in an earlier comment, both sides of the family are from Chicago. My parents left when I was maybe 4 years old. I remember traveling to Chicago in November 1971 when I was in the Navy on Liberty. I went to my aunt’s house for Thanksgiving. In the intervening 20 or so years, I travel back to Chicago two more times. My memories are scattered and vague. Your photos helped to add some information about Chicago for me. I enjoyed the picture of the tree. The picture of the house with snow immediately reminded me of my visit to my aunt’s in November 1971 for Thanksgiving. Thank you for sharing your photos.

  2. Great contrast. The beauty of autumn compared to the chilling cold snow of winter. I miss summer, spring and fall but like you, I don't miss the winters one bit.

  3. I've only been to Chicago in January or February it was really cold but at least there was no snow. Especially after seeing that photo. Those are some beautiful seasonal photos.

  4. Living in the desert and looking at these photos just makes you want to head up northeast. This was a fun video. Although, there seemed to be some interference. Perhaps close to other active devices? I find it's best to shoot these screen-casts far from any other audio, digital device, or wave-emitting device like a microwave.
